Which program should I choose?

Each child's program is customized, the list of programs is simply what is available.

Therefore you actually are choosing:

Camp - daily classes (1hr/class)

The Learning Studio - daily classes (1hr/class)

Full STEAM - regular weekly classes (1hr/class)

Enrichment - intense regular weekly classes (2hrs/class)

Where would my child start in the curriculum?

At TCL, our instructors customize and personalize the learning path for each child. Our number one goal is to make sure that each child is motivated and excited about what they are learning!

Can my 5/6 year old join?

Yes, as long as they have some reading skills, they are familiar with the keyboard and can sit for approximately 45-60 minutes. You are also more than welcome to assist them during the class.​

What time is the class?

Each program is 1 on 1 so there are no set specific class times. You can choose any day and time that is available on the schedule and that would be your time moving forward.​

What if I need to reschedule a class?

You can always reschedule a class up to 1 hour before the scheduled start time. Our scheduling is vert flexible!​

What is the price of the program?

Camp - $199 for daily classes. Price is per week

STEAM - $249 for weekly classes (this is our regular program) 

Enrichment - $429 for weekly 2 hour classes - this is for serious web development students

Are your instructors qualified?

Yes! At TCL we do not just look for instructors who can teach code, our team is filled with instructors who a passionate about STEAM! They have extensive education and experience. You can find out more in our "The Team" section above.​

Will I have the same instructor for each class?

Yes! At TCL we understand the importance of continuity of instruction and aim to not disrupt a student's learning path by switching instructors. That being said, you can always request a new instructor if needed!

Is there a contract?

No, you can cancel at any time and receive a refund for any unused classes! ​

​

Is there homework/assignments?

Yes! Each situation is different, some parents prefer no homework but if this is something that you would like, simply let your instructor know!​

How are camp classes structured?

Our camp classes are all virtual! You can choose from either 1 hour per day, every day of the week or you can choose to split it up into a 30 minute class in the morning and another 30 minute class in. the afternoon with projects in between!

What type of computer do I need?

Any PC or laptop should be fine. Preferably not a chrome book but we can work with that if that if needed. Tablets are ok for younger students.

Which program do I need to download?

Most classes are taught via zoom however sometimes instructors may move over to Skype or Discord as well depending on the program.
